Your first analysis in MathJet
What this tutorial will cover
Section titled “What this tutorial will cover”When complete, this tutorial will walk you through:
- Opening MathJet for the first time and orienting yourself in the GUI.
- Loading a CSV or
.xlsxfile as a spreadsheet. - Creating a plot from a cell range.
- Calling Python from a cell formula and seeing the result update live.
- Saving the entire session as a
.mjwworkspace file.
The tutorial is intentionally written after spending real time using MathJet on a representative workflow, so the steps are accurate and the gotchas are real. We’d rather ship nothing than ship a tutorial that diverges from the current product.
Until then
Section titled “Until then”If you want to start exploring on your own:
- The MATLAB migration guide is the most complete walkthrough we have right now. Even if you’re not a MATLAB user, the “what works” sections give a sense of what MathJet can do.
- The Interactive Visualization reference covers the chart and plot capabilities in detail.
- The Overview explains the design.
