Your first analysis in MathJet

What this tutorial will cover

When complete, this tutorial will walk you through:

1. Opening MathJet for the first time and orienting yourself in the GUI.
2. Loading a CSV or .xlsx file as a spreadsheet.
3. Creating a plot from a cell range.
4. Calling Python from a cell formula and seeing the result update live.
5. Saving the entire session as a .mjw workspace file.

The tutorial is intentionally written after spending real time using MathJet on a representative workflow, so the steps are accurate and the gotchas are real. We’d rather ship nothing than ship a tutorial that diverges from the current product.

• The MATLAB migration guide is the most complete walkthrough we have right now. Even if you’re not a MATLAB user, the “what works” sections give a sense of what MathJet can do.
