rcond

Reciprocal condition number estimate (1-norm).

Syntax

c = rcond(A)

Description

Returns LAPACK’s 1/cond(A, 1) estimate. Faster than 1/cond(A, 1) because it doesn’t require computing the inverse. Values near 0 indicate near-singular matrices; values near 1 indicate well-conditioned ones.
